Mantis Polska, the Polish and Central European arm of Mantis a leading supplier of extended Supply Chain Execution (SCE) software and solutions in Central Eastern Europe, announced today that No Limit, a company that is well-known in the Polish logistics services market for its ability to handle demanding customers, selected and rapidly implemented Mantis’ Logistics Vision.
No Limit, established in 1990 in Warsaw Poland, provides sophisticated logistics services to top enterprises through a network of 3 distribution centers with a total area of 200,000 square feet. Among No Limit’s key customers are Reebok, Rossignol, Quicksilver, Intersport, Procter&Gamble, FritoLay, P4, LowePro, GTI (running retail outlets for Orange mobile operator), AED (supplier of electronic and technical products), the distributor of Umbro, Asics & Timberland brands, the operator of the Athletes Foot retail chain and the on-line shop „gram.pl" for CD Projekt (a major distributor of games and multimedia software).
One of No Limit’s key requirements in selecting a WMS was its high adaptability to support rapid implementations even of the most sophisticated logistics processes. Mantis’ Warehouse Vision (the WMS arm of its Logistics Vision Suite), was selected by No Limit and implemented by Mantis Polska in No Limit’s first warehouse (at Janki) within a month.
Such rapid implementation was possible due to the unique structure of Warehouse Vision, allowing the requirements of No Limit to be met right in the implementation stage by means of appropriate setup and parameter tuning. Apart from the standard functionality, the implementation of Warehouse Vision at No Limit is also handling large-dimension products. A special put-away algorithm was applied, that optimizes the put-away process taking into account factors such as bin size, maximum weight, storage zone and carrier type. Due to the variety of product ranges handled, Warehouse Vision was setup to support 16 different carrier types. Finally No Limit’s customer is constantly updated on the progress of the relevant warehouse processes by means of EDI messages.
Mantis Polska, together with No Limit, managed to perform a successful implementation within an extremely restricted schedule without compromising the high quality of the entire solution.
