Initiated by Logopark “PRISMA” (the largest industrially-warehouse complex in the Urals) and IQ Property Management, the conference that is organized for the 3rd consecutive year, brought together more than 80 participants-representatives from federal and Ural retail networks, producers, companies, distributors and freight logistics operators from Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Perm, Tyumen, Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg.
Mr. Alexander Usov, general manager of ant Technologies, noted in his presentation that the recent economic crisis will accelerate the investment in specialized IT systems by the businesses in the region that are looking to improve their competitiveness by reducing logistics costs and improve quality and efficiency of their customer service.
In summary, the conference noted that 2009 was a tough year for logistics operators and that the future belongs to those who can provide a complete portfolio of quality technology-based logistics services and do not afraid to implement sophisticated logistics projects.
