TED started its operations in 1995. As a result of hard work and large-scale marketing activities, the company’s staff successfully set up the production and made "TED" Mattresses one of the most popular trade marks in the country. The rapid development of the company required larger and well arranged manufacturing facilities. Thus the new TED Mattresses factory was built and put into operation in year 2000 in the town of Plovdiv including manufacturing, administrative and warehouse premises.
In TED they believe that product quality is a key issue and as a result their long term strategy is to keep constantly improving the quality without making any compromises. All products with the trade mark "TED" have a large share on the Bulgarian market, being an optimum mix of high quality and good price.
Warehouse Vision, a member of Mantis’ state-of-the-art Logistic Vision Suite, was selected as the platform for the WMS information solution. TED took into account key advantages such as broad functional capabilities meeting the most up-to-date requirements of its warehousing operations, flexibility of the system allowing quick adaptation to its requirements, possibility of extending system’s functionality through subsequent introduction of additional modules of the Logistic Vision Suite and short implementation period.
